Luce Phillip Alexandre, WWI Attestation Papers | Military Record

Son of Phillip Charles Luce, cousin of Eveline Melvina LuceMilitary enlistment, World War 1, Canadian Expeditionary Forces

On October 27th, 1915 – halfway through World War I, Phillip H. Luce filled in his attestation papers for the Canadian Over-Seas Expedionary Force. The papers indicate that he was living at Island River, Lameque, New Brunswick and he stated that he was a fisherman. The medical officer declared him fit for action, and described him as having brown hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion, and standing 5 ft. 6 in. tall.
